UA Radio: Arizona Radio Network, 1290 AM Tucson

Satellite Radio: XM: 199 Sirius 92 (Stanford radio call)

Odds: The Arizona Wildcats opened as 12-point underdogs against the Stanford Cardinal, but the line has leveled out at 9. Check out the full college football odds for this weekend here.

  • The matchup: The Wildcats (3-2) are 0-2 in Pac-12 play and sit in the Pac-12 South Division by themselves and in dead last place. Meanwhile, Stanford is 3-1 and 1-1 in the conference after the loss to the Washington Huskies. Remember, though, they did beat USC.
  • The numbers: Nothing quite stands out for the Cardinal, but it's the defense to keep an eye on. Stanford is 21st in the nation by giving up 15.3 points per game. The offense is 94th in rushing yards, but Stepfan Taylor is no man to laugh at. Quarterback Josh Nunes and the more helpless pass game (98th in the country) could be where Arizona has an advantage. The Wildcats enter the game 9th in passing yards per game and 39th in rushing.
  • Our brief on the injury report can be found here.
  • Third try's the charm: Arizona will look to avoid a third straight loss that in the past two seasons has doomed the season.

Full schedule for the weekend is below the fold.
