Pac-12 football Media Day

Culver City, Calif.

For Arizona, head coach Rich Rodriguez will be joined by linebacker Jake Fischer and wide receiver Terrence Miller.

The Arizona contingent will head to the stage at 11:35 a.m. PT but the event begins with commissioner Larry Scott at 9 a.m. Washington State will be the first team to hit the main interview stage at 9:15 a.m.

A live stream will appear on AZDesertSwarm's front page and can also be viewed on the Pac-12's website. The Pac-12 will update their main page with videos, quotes and notes. We'll of course have some updates throughout the day as well.

The storylines

It's no question that Arizona's biggest loss from last season to this is that of quarterback Matt Scott. Not only is it a loss but a question of who replaces Scott.

That's the obvious, but there are other unknowns.

How much better can the defense be with so many returners who are still undersized and lacking depth behind them? Will Ka'Deem Carey find trouble as defenses key on him -- there could be a painful passing attack and there won't be Austin Hill, after all.

And at media day, Jake Fischer's involvement in the Ed O'Bannon lawsuit is sure to come up in a question here or there.
