Arizona Wildcats receiver Davonte' Neal has been denied a hardship waiver for the second time, and Rich Rodriguez doesn't appear optimistic about a third appeal going through. Neal didn't travel with Arizona to the UNLV game.
The receiver transferred from Notre Dame to be closer to his family, especially his young daughter. Apparently, Rodriguez wasn't sounding too pleased with the NCAA's decision at his Monday press conference. The following tweets were rounded up from the presser (Excuse the roundups of our own tweets. Jason Bartel is at the presser).

Coach says this is the second appeal denied. Will appeal one more time. "Doesn't look good" #davonte

RichRod says two appeals for Davonte' Neal have been denied. Might be a longshot appeal left, but he's not likely to play in 2013.

Neal will be able to play next season if his appeal doesn't change the outcome. He'll have three years of eligibility left.
