USC vs. Arizona: Nick Wilson questionable to play for Wildcats against Trojans

It would be cool if the running backs were both healthy at the same time for once

Scott Olmos-USA TODAY Sports

The official injury report for the Arizona Wildcats prior to their game against the USC Trojans is out, and running back Nick Wilson is listed as questionable.

Here's the full report.

QUESTIONABLE: Nick Wilson (ankle), Cayman Bundage (knee)

OUT: DeAndre' Miller (shoulder)

If every injury report so far is any indication, none of these three guys will play Saturday night.

Wilson and Bundage were both non-participants at practice this week. Wilson actually hurt himself on this play, where he ran over one of the best corners in the nation in Oregon's Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. Terris Jones-Grigsby is healthy again, so this just means he'll get more carries, along with possibly Jared Baker, Adonis Smith, or maybe even Zach Green or Samajie Grant.

Bundage probably has a little bit of a better chance playing than Wilson, but his loss is actually more important for the Arizona offense. Bundage is this team's best run blocker. On the plays that he missed against Oregon, Arizona couldn't get anything going on the ground, and the Ducks were able to actually get to Anu Solomon. If Bundage is unable to go, I would expect to see Jacob Alsadek and Lene Maiava to both start at guard. I would also expect to see a lot less from the running game than what people are used to.

DeAndre' Miller's injury is a bummer. He has not been able to play in a single Pac-12 game this year because of his shoulder. We are fans of Miller here, as he was very open about his love affair with Sonoran hot dogs and The Lion King before the year started.
