After Saturday's win over Utah, Arizona Wildcats fans all turned their eyes to the Rose Bowl, hoping that the UCLA Bruins would take down USC.
Well, they did, and Arizona is still alive in the Pac-12 South race.
The division now comes down to two games, which will occur simultaneously on Friday afternoon. Arizona and Arizona State kick off at 1:30 MT on FOX, while Stanford and UCLA start at the exact same time on ABC.
Here's how each team wins the division and earns the right to play Oregon in Santa Clara the following Friday.
UCLA: Beat Stanford
ARIZONA: UCLA loses to Stanford and beat ASU
ASU: UCLA loses to Stanford and beat Arizona
It's that simple.
If that Stanford/UCLA game is close, and the Arizona/ASU game is close, there are going to be some moments of tension and excitement inside Arizona Stadium that have never been seen before in that place. I doubt there will be announcements about the UCLA score during the game, as RichRod and the staff will do everything to keep the players' sole attention on ASU. So be sure to have your phone charged up and ready to constantly check the score in Pasadena while spending Friday afternoon in Arizona Stadium.
