Arizona Wildcats starting quarterback Anu Solomon left the Utah game at halftime after aggravating an ankle injury on the team's final drive of the first half.

Solomon's status won't really be known until the team takes the field Friday morning for warmups.

"Most teams will prepare for the system, and we're going to do the same thing," Rich Rodriguez said at Monday's press conference.

"Our policy has been the same, and you'll get the injury report on Wednesday. If he can't go, we'll go with Jesse (Scroggins), Jerrard (Randall), Connor (Brewer), and we'll try and get first downs."

Solomon's been dealing with an ankle injury for several weeks now. During the first half, it was the healthiest that ankle's looked, but coach didn't seem concerned about the freshman having to miss the second half.

"Anu's been banged up all year."

"Whoever's playing, I've got confidence in every single one of them."

Check back here on Wednesday afternoon when the school releases the official injury report for more details.
