Cameron Denson led Salpointe to an undefeated season and state title, wrapped up with a blowout win in the State Championship Game, which was held at Arizona Stadium.
On Winning the 2013 Arizona State Championship in Arizona Stadium: "It was the best day ever...." -Cam Denson #AZOKGDay

Recruiting coordinator Matt Dudek has always been high on Denson, and of course it helped that he was the first commit of this class.
.@AZ_Matty_D calls Cam Denson the 'centerpiece' of Arizona's class. Sounds right. He was first, too. #signingday.

RichRod calls @camdenson5 'one of the lowest-maintenance recruits we've ever had.' Talent and character. #signingday

Denson played all kinds of positions this year, including quarterback, wide receiver, defensive back and kick returner. I saw him play a couple of times this season, one game against Ironwood Ridge where he absolutely dominated the defending state champs. He was a man amongst boys in that game, and it was that way for almost every single Salpointe game this season.
Just spent a little time at Salpointe w/your future friend Cam Denson. His hoops coach says he's one of the best in the state at that too.

RichRod has talked to Denson about playing both ways, and with the overall lack of depth at cornerback compared to next year's WR situation, look for him to be spending more time on defense his freshman year, especially after UA parted ways with Naijiel Hale.
Have to wonder if this opens up time for Cam Denson at DB right away if he wants it. He's good enough to play both ways

Basically, Denson is the biggest weapon in this recruiting class, and his impact could be felt right away on both sides of the ball, and on special teams.
Big get, and apparently a character guy. Seems perfect for this team.
