While June may typically be the month of commitments for the Arizona Wildcats, some roster shakeups are also going down as the team starts to take shape heading into summer workouts.
Headlining the group of changes is the loss of NT Kirifi Taula. As the Daily Star points out, Taula missed most of spring ball due to a concussion. He becomes at least the third player to leave the program due to lingering concussion issues in the last nine months.
While it seems like losing an experienced body on the defensive line may be an issue, the Wildcats did add two familiar faces with Aiulua Fanene and Sani Fuimaono. Both of them have missed the last two seasons because they were on their LDS missions, but RichRod has welcomed them back, and are both officially on the roster.
Fanene racked up eight tackles during his redshirt freshman season in 2011. Fuimaono had seven tackles that season, and even started two games for the Wildcats. Fuimaono has not used his redshirt season yet.
Derek Babiash leaving the program in April also caused a cascade effect with new jersey numbers it looks like, according to Daniel Berk's timeline:
UA football roster note: With Derek Babiash gone, it looks like Tellas Jones has switched from No. 14 to No. 1.

Also looks like Keoni Bush-Loo has gone from No. 3 to No. 44.

WR/RB T.J. Johnson now going by Tyrell Johnson per Arizona online roster. Extra letters shouldn't add any time to his 40.

Also, Arizona's roster now just lists wide receivers with an 'R' instead of 'WR'. Except for Khari McGee. He's a QB/WR. So he's got that special treatment going on or something.
