Per his twitter feed, highly-rated offensive lineman Cody Creason has committed to Arizona.
The commitment comes just two days after Creason was in Tucson on a visit. He also visited ASU on the 26th.
Creason is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports, and a three-star by Rivals. He also had offers from ASU, Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, Utah, Washington State, Boise State, San Diego State, and San Jose State.
According to the Daily Star's Daniel Berk, Creason's commitment comes earlier than expected.
Talked w/Creason. Said he was planning for Aug. commitment, but liked his visit to Tucson so much, he decided to end recruitment.— Daniel Berk (@DSBerk) July 27, 2014
Must have been the street car. And everyone thought that thing wouldn't have any impact on Tucson.
Creason plays offensive guard at Folsom HS in Folsom, CA. As of right now, the 2015 recruiting class sits at 18 players, and Creason is the second-highest rated player in the group behind OT Keenan Walker from Chaparral. According to the 247 Composite score, Arizona is now 26th nationally, and 4th in the Pac-12 for the 2015 season.
