Arizona pulled in its 17th commit to the 2015 football recruiting class on Sunday with inside linebacker Kendrick Jackson's announcement that he'll play for the Rich Rodriguez's team. The 3-star composite-ranked player had interest from Arkansas, Memphis and Arizona, according to 247 Sports.
Jackson announced his decision to head west on Twitter.
Proud to say that I'm committed to the University of Arizona! #Beardown #Wildcats

It appears that the Wildcats paid quite a bit of attention to the 6'1, 232-pound athlete who is playing both quarterback and linebacker for Haynesville High School in Haynesville, La. He is projected to play exclusively as a linebacker in college.

Jackson is the third commit in the 2015 class out of Louisiana, and Arizona director of on-campus recruiting Matt Dudek probably would like to point out. Jackson's decision comes days after Reserve, La., Antonio Parks followed current cornerback Jonathan McKnight to Tucson by committing this week. Running back Orlando Bradford of Shreveport, La., also recently committed to RichRod's program.
