On the day before fall practice begins for the Arizona Wildcats, a new face has joined the 2015 recruiting class. Harper Sherman, who was on campus on Friday, committed.
Sherman is a 6'4", 265 pound offensive tackle from New Westminster, British Columbia. Although he is unrated by Rivals, Sherman also had offers from Cal, Oregon State, Washington State, and San Diego State among others.
The offensive lineman was on campus this week along with several other recruits for the opening of fall camp. Here's more of the list of Tucson visitors this week according to Scout's Jason Scheer:
So Arizona got commitment from Sherman. Has 5* John Houston and 4* Frank Martin on campus today along with Kevin Estes. Not a bad day

Also according to Scheer, Sherman was the top target as far as offensive lineman go for the Arizona coaching staff, so getting a commitment has to feel good for them.

Sherman was offered back in February, which was his second offer at the time.
Just extremely honored and blessed to have received an offer from the University of Arizona, hard work truly pays off!

He becomes the fourth offensive lineman in the 2015 recruiting class, joining Keenan Walker, Cody Creason, and Alex Kosinski.
