The Arizona Wildcats had a record-breaking night against the UNLV Rebels.
Arizona set a new school record for total yards (787). They almost had the previous record beat (693) at the end of the third quarter.
"That's all Anu," Austin Hill said happily.
"If I didn't make so many mistakes, I felt like we could have made more yards," Anu Solomon added.
The redshirt freshman also set the new school record for passing yards by a freshman (425).
"I'm very proud of the offensive corps as a whole," Solomon said after the game. "We executed every play. I have a great wide receiving corps that's got my back."

"I definitely think the fans too," Hill said. "They brought a lot of energy tonight to the first game. It always feels good when the Zonazoo, the student body is out there supporting you and being as loud as they can possibly be. It's fun to be able to go out there and play for them, and I think it kind of loosened us up as an offense, and I really think it showed."

Yeah, UNLV can't tackle anyone.

"I felt slow today," Solomon said through a smile. "It's just picking up the tempo of the offense."
Arizona ran 94 plays with just 31:36 of possession time. If that's slow, then what is fast?

Tonight, Austin Hill and Samajie Grant did the deed.
This is Game 1.
The future is here. And it is going to be something that Arizona fans have never seen before.
