College football poll: Arizona is still lurking in the rankings

The Wildcats didn't play this week, but some teams have to lose.

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

Don't take the Cal win for granted  -- RichRod isn't -- even though luck had something to do with it. Technically, the Arizona Wildcats are still eligible for the college football playoff. So there's that. It says something that UA is perfect even if there's a loss on the horizon against the No. 2 Oregon Ducks on Thursday.

Rich Rodriguez's team is ranked 29th in the nation in both the AP Poll and Amway Coaches Poll after sitting out this week on a bye.
