We've sort of become accustomed to the Arizona Wildcats pulling one major upset each year. But time is running out on that opportunity in 2015.
The Cats will have one last chance, and it's when a top-ten ranked Utah Utes team travels to Tucson for Senior Night on Saturday.
Utah is ranked 10th in this week's AP Poll. Here are the AP and Coaches' polls for this week:
|1||Clemson (31)||Ohio State (34)|
|2||Ohio State (26)||Clemson (21)|
|3||Alabama (2)||Baylor (5)|
|4||Baylor (2)||Alabama (3)|
|5||Oklahoma State||Oklahoma State|
|6||Notre Dame||Notre Dame|
|14||Michigan State||Michigan State|
|17||North Carolina||North Carolina|
|18||UCLA||Florida State (T-18)|
|19||Florida State||UCLA (T-18)|
|20||Mississippi State||Mississippi State|
Utah and UCLA remain the only Pac-12 South teams in the top-25, as USC is lurking just outside in both polls. Remember when this was supposed to be the nation's best division?
Also, 7th-ranked Stanford is the only Pac-12 North team, and had an opportunity to clinch the division this week, but Cal let them down. So the Cardinal will have to settle for next week to stake their claim on the Pac-12 Championship Game in their backyard.
We're all waiting for that defining game from Arizona this season. Hopefully they didn't spend all their energy on the near-upset of USC this weekend, and have some gas left in the tank to take down a Utah team they've owned the past three years.
