It really shouldn't be a surprise that the reigning National Defensive Player of the Year is named to every possible award watch list, and that's the case as Scooby Wright III added two more on Tuesday.
Wright won the Lombardi Award last year, but did not win the Butkus Award, which is given to the nation's top linebacker, because he was not on the watch list at the beginning of the 2014 season. UCLA's Eric Kendricks took home that honor last year.
This is now four watch lists that Scooby finds himself on so far this past week. He also finds himself on the Nagurski and Bednarik watch lists. There's gonna be a lot of hype surrounding Scooby, which will probably lead to Pac-12 offensive coordinators trying to come up with schemes to neutralize him as much as possible (a la Arizona against Anthony Barr in 2013).
The next Wildcat to earn a watch list nod is likely Cayleb Jones as the Biletnikoff Award watch list comes out on Wednesday.
