Territorial Cup 2016: Arizona to wear all red uniforms and chrome helmets vs. ASU

It’s a red out for the Duel in the Desert

NCAA Football: UCLA at Arizona Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

It will be all red everything for the Arizona Wildcats when they take on the Arizona State Sun Devils on Friday at Arizona Stadium.

Arizona will wear red jerseys, red pants, and the chrome red helmets against ASU.

The Wildcats (2-9, 0-8 Pac-12) are 0-1 in this uniform combination and 0-3 in the chrome helmets in total.

Meanwhile, ASU (5-6, 2-6 Pac-12) will be wearing grey helmets, white jerseys, and grey pants — not exactly traditional school colors.

The battle for the Territorial Cup will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. MST and will be televised on ESPN. The home team was won the last three meetings.

Arizona has lost its last eight games and ASU has lost its last five.

Fans in attendance at Arizona Stadium are encouraged to wear red.
