Stanford is a pretty overwhelming favorite in the North, receiving 24 of the 33 first-place votes. UCLA is the slight favorite over USC. Utah’s third-place selection is the highest the Utes have been picked since joining the Pac-12.
It’s just two points (87 to 85), but Arizona is indeed picked to finish higher than ASU.
As far as the Championship Game goes, Stanford received 20 votes to win that. USC (5), Washington (4), UCLA (3), and Utah (1) also received votes to win the conference. No Oregon.
Of course, these picks don’t really mean anything. But it is interesting to see where the media hype lies, and that is with Stanford and Washington right now.
