The Arizona Wildcats’ top NFL Draft prospect, Paul Magloire Jr., got a late call to join the East-West Shrine Game and has taken advantage of the opportunity. Originally slated to play in the Tropical Bowl, Magloire decided it was best to play in the Shrine Game, a more prestigious event that has allowed him to showcase his skills to NFL coaches and scouts.

Magloire has been turning heads and improving his draft stock since Shrine Game festivities have begun. The Chicago Bears, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions, Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, and others have all met with the 6-foot-1, 227 pound linebacker this week. He is also being coached by George Edwards, the Defensive Coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings.

On Monday, Magloire was graded as the highest linebacker at practice, according to draftanalyst.com.

The media has also been impressed with Magloire’s talents this week.

Magloire led Arizona in tackles this season (81) despite missing a game due to a groin injury and being used situationally in the beginning of the season. He also added 5.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.

He is currently being projected as a fifth round pick, optimistic that the remaining practices and Pro Day will increase his value as well.

The East-West Shrine Game will be played on Sunday, January 21 on NFL Network at 3pm EST.
