Coming off a record-breaking rushing performance against Colorado, Khalil Tate got the start for the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday against the UCLA Bruins and, well, he picked up right where he left off.
The sophomore quarterback ran for a 45-yard touchdown on Arizona’s opening drive. It was just the fourth play of the game.
Here’s the highlight:

Tate also had an 11-yard run and a 13-yard pass to freshman tight end Bryce Wolma on the drive, making things look easy against a scuffling UCLA defense.
Tate looks like the real deal, which is a great sign for an Arizona football program in need of a spark.
