Khalil Tate shattered the FBS quarterback rushing record in the Arizona Wildcats’ 45-42 win over the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday in Boulder.

The sophomore ran for 327 yards, and accounted for five touchdowns in total, four of which came on the ground, after he replaced starter Brandon Dawkins who exited with an injury on UA’s opening drive.

Tate also had a stellar game as a passer, completing 11 of 12 passes for 142 yards.

As the Pac-12 Network commentator said after the game: “He’s your Pac-12 Player of the Week.”
