Shortly after spring practice, Cochran announced he would be transferring from the UA because he was homesick, and Miami (OH) was his new destination.
But now that he’s back in the fold, Cochran is a welcomed addition for the Wildcats. At 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, he will add much-needed length along the defensive edge and should help with Arizona’s pass rush, which has been non-existent in recent seasons.
The Plymouth, Michigan native was a 3-star linebacker coming out of Canton High School in the 2016 class. Cochran chose Arizona over hometown Michigan State.
