The Arizona Wildcats will be debuting their matte blue helmets on Friday vs. the Utah Utes, it was announced Thursday.
They will be paired with a blue jersey and blue pants, making it all blue everything for the Wildcats this weekend at Arizona Stadium.

Arizona is 9-5 since 2005 when wearing all blue, and it wore this uniform the last time it played Utah at home, when UA upset the No. 10 Utes 37-30 in double overtime.
The matte helmets are unique in not only their finish, but also because the Arizona Block A is overlaid in red, which is rarely seen and also why reviews from fans were mixed when the design was unveiled. I think it’s pretty awesome and fits well with this uniform design.
And what will Utah be wearing Friday you ask? (Even if you didn’t ask, I am going to tell you anyway since this is super important.)
Red, white, and red.
