Brandon’s thoughts: I liked Mitchell when he committed last year and that still holds true. His senior season ended in the most unfortunate way. During the first game he tore his ACL. He agreed to greyshirt and managed to stick with it, even with the uncertainty of a coaching change. During that time, he worked and rehabbed to get back to form. Well, all of that work paid off when he received his NLI from Arizona last Thursday. He will be an effective slot receiver for the ‘Cats. He is speedy, shifty, and runs hard. He very much reminds me of a slightly smaller Brian Casteel.
Gabe’s Thoughts: Good on the new staff for honoring his commitment while he was injured, luckily he had receivers coach Theron Aych to keep the continuity in his recruitment. Arizona is loaded on young receivers and I hope that he is someone that can contribute after the long road he has traveled. He was a nice little playmaker out of Nevada but you always have to worry about a player being able to come back from an injury like that.
Jaden’s thoughts on being a Wildcat: “Just grateful and blessed. I’m just ready to be a Wildcat and get to work.”
