Brandon’s thoughts: Clark is one of my favorite players in this class. He just knows the game of football. His stats prove it. His post-season accolades prove it. The only odd thing is his recruitment. He doesn’t have the offers you’d think. It is possible that schools don’t like his size but that’s just my thoughts. When it comes to his performance on the field, he is a monster. He has a high football IQ, able to dissect a play in around a second and then react. He has phenomenal vision and great speed. There was a play where he covered 10 yards in a second or so and destroyed the ball carrier trying to come around the outside.

In my opinion he is a Scooby Wright 3.0, or a Colin Schooler 2.0.

Gabe’s Thoughts: Very interesting prospect here. A two-time all state kid, defensive player of the year type of production, but no other Power Five offers. South Oak Cliff has some other high-end talent on the roster but for whatever reason Clark is getting no love despite his play, which I assume is largely due to his lack of size. He’s quick the ball and follows a play to the finish. It’s interesting because I like Issaiah Johnson from the previous class much more, but he is not a Kevin Sumlin guy, so we’ll get to see how they stack up against each other at middle linebacker. Right now I think he’s a guy that provides depth in the future.
