Brandon’s thoughts: Fears is another great pickup by offensive line coach Joe Gilbert. He is big, fast, and strong. In fact, I was surprised at how quick he truly is. His quickness off the snap stands out more to me than anything else. But I can’t overlook his power and his aggression either. Right now, Gilbert has himself a phenomenal offensive line class. In fact, it’s probably the strongest I’ve seen in some time.
Gabe’s Thoughts: I think this is a solid pick up for Arizona. I’m interested to see how the offensive tackle battle plays out next season between him and Josh Donovan. Realistically only one will probably be a full-time starter given the fact that they have freshman Donovan Laie and both of these two junior college prospects only have two years. Regardless, it is phenomenal depth and I have no reason to believe that Joe Gilbert can’t turn this group into one of the best fronts in the Pac-12.
