Early Enrollee: Yes
Brandon’s thoughts: Curry is another game changer. He will play, if not start, from day one. He is a teammate and close friend of Grant Gunnell, and that coupled with the staff’s relentless pursuit, sold the ‘Cats to Curry.
Don’t be bothered by his stats from this year. He had a wrist injury that sidelined him and hindered him throughout the year. So don’t worry, this dude is a stud.
He has everything you want in a receiver. Have fun watching his highlights from this season and his junior season. Huge, huge win for Arizona, especially in the state of Texas.
Gabe’s Thoughts: Arizona needed to land an elite receiver and they got it with Jalen Curry. An absolute play maker here. Again, it’s exciting to see that Arizona is able to compete with these big time programs on his offer list and win a kid who announces on a signing day.
Immediate impact player, he’s going to etch his name in Arizona’s receiving record book. This kid can literally do it all. And I think that what Taylor Mazzone and Theron Aych did with the receivers this past season was amazing considering the question marks.
Now having a top talent like Curry, woof.
