Green had 156 carries for 743 yards and 14 touchdowns in his career at Arizona. The 5-foot-10, 229-pound running back excelled in a short-yardage role this past season.
Green plunged for 11 touchdowns, which accounted for one-sixth of his carries.
Arguably the best game of his career came in the 2016 Territorial Cup, when he scampered for 126 yards and two touchdowns on just 14 carries. Arizona beat ASU that night 56-35 without attempting a pass in the second half.
Green’s best game in 2017 was a 130-yard, two-touchdown outburst at Colorado.
The Miami, Florida native will have an uphill battle to make an NFL roster — all undrafted free agents do — but maybe he will continue his short-yardage excellence at the next level.
