The Arizona Wildcats’ game against the Washington Huskies did not go as planned Saturday, but the weekend wasn’t all bad.

3-star linebacker Jabar Triplett, from University Lab School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, committed to the Wildcats on Sunday.

The 6-foot, 210-pound Triplett is ranked as the No. 103 outside linebacker and No. 1,483 player in the 2020 class, per 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Triplett received an offer from Arizona late in the summer cycle, and that ‘Cats moved quickly and aggressively to get him in the fold.

Triplett had 15 offers and chose Arizona over Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Colorado State, and Louisville among others. He took an official visit to Arizona the weekend the Cats hosted Texas Tech.

He becomes Arizona’s 12th commit, joining a class that ranks 78th nationally and 11th in the Pac-12, per 247Sports.
