3-star running back Jalen John commits to Arizona

It’s no secret that the Arizona Wildcats have put a heavy emphasis on recruiting Arizona and Texas under Kevin Sumlin, but don’t forget about the Pacific Northwest.

Oregon running back Jalen John committed to the UA on Monday, becoming the ninth commit of the 2020 class and the first running back.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound ball carrier is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. More specifically, John is the No. 931 player in the country, No. 61 running back in the nation, and the No. 6 player in Oregon.

John attends Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego. He has offers from Oregon, Oregon State, Nebraska, and BYU.
