It’s not just the entire team that the Pac-12 Conference’s media isn’t high on, it also doesn’t expect very much from the Arizona Wildcats’ players on an individual level.

At least, that’s what can be gathered from the preseason all-conference team that was released on Wednesday.

Only two Wildcats—junior linebacker Colin Schooler and junior running back J.J. Taylor—were selected by the league’s media, with Schooler on the first team and Taylor getting a second-team nod. That’s tied with Oregon State for the second-fewest of any Pac-12 squad, with only UCLA (one) having fewer selections.

Senior quarterback Khalil Tate was the most notable snub for Arizona, not even garnering an honorable mention spot. No Pac-12 QBs were included in that section, which was comprised of players that received four or more votes from the 33 participating media members (But two punters did, FWIW).

Arizona was the only Pac-12 school that didn’t have an honorable mention player.
