Nothing says ‘game week’ like a depth chart!
Arizona has released its first such list of the 2019 season, one that features many familiar names in starting roles but also a few new ones, most notably on the offensive and defensive line.

Two of Arizona’s four junior college signees, Trevon Mason and Myles Tapusoa, are listed as starters at nose tackle and defensive tackle, respectively, while redshirt sophomore (and Texas A&M transfer) Robert Congel is slotted at left guard on the O-line.
At wide receiver, where Arizona has to replace its top three producers from 2019, senior Cedric Peterson is the only surefire starter in the group. The two other WR slots are among four positions that have an ‘OR’ separating the top two names, with redshirt sophomore Drew Dixon and true freshman Boobie Curry knotted together for one spot and redshirt sophomore Brian Casteel and redshirt freshman (and converted quarterback) Jamarye Joiner locked in a battle at the other.
The other ‘OR’ positions are right tackle, where redshirt sophomores Edgar Burrola and Paiton Fears (another JUCO transfer) are listed as co-starters, and Will linebacker, with juniors Tony Fields and Anthony Pandy fighting for the starting spot.
For those keeping score at home, junior Rhett Rodriguez is listed as Khalil Tate’s backup at quarterback with true freshman Grant Gunnell listed third.
