Kevin Sumlin may not be that adored by Texas A&M fans anymore, but there are people in that college town that still think highly of him. Namely, one of the best 2020 prospects in the 2020 recruiting class.
Nate Floyd, a 3-star cornerback from College Station, has the Wildcats among his final three choices:
Missouri and Texas Tech are also finalists for the 6-foot, 176-pound Floyd, who 247Sports ranks as the No. 622 player in the 2020 class as well as the 50th-best corner and the No. 89 prospect from Texas.
Floyd visited Arizona over the summer, the Wildcats being the first school to offer him back in July 2018 prior to his junior year. That fall he earned all-District honors at corner and kick returner.
Texas remains a priority recruiting area for Arizona, which signed eight Texans in 2019 and already has three commitments from the Lone Star State in the 2020 class.
