According to one metric, there is no college football fanbase more dissatisfied with the state of their program than Arizona Wildcats fans.
The first SB Nation FanPlus confidence levels were unveiled this week, and only eight percent of Arizona fans who participated in the poll are confident in the program’s direction.

The second-lowest confidence rate is over at Bruins Nation, where only 32 percent of UCLA fans are encouraged by their program’s direction as it enters its second year under Chip Kelly.
Although this is only the second year of Coach Kevin Sumlin’s tenure at Arizona and new hires tend to generate optimism, Arizona lost to Hawaii in Week 0 after going 5-7 last season, and patience is already wearing thin.
Plus, UA fans tend to be cynical about the football program anyway since it has mostly been average throughout its history, only producing three double-digit win seasons ever.
