Just like last year, the Wildcats will open the season with a Week 0 tilt against Hawaii, only this time it will be in Tucson.
Arizona will not have the following week off this time though, as it will face FCS Portland State in Week 1, followed by a rare early-season Pac-12 game against Stanford in Week 2. It’s the first time UA has had a conference game before completing its non-conference slate since 2011.
Arizona will then travel to Lubbock to face Texas Tech before its first of two bye weeks. As per the rotating Pac-12 schedule, the Wildcats will not face Pac-12 North foes Cal and Washington State for the second straight season.
That means 11 of Arizona’s 12 opponents from 2019 are also on the 2020 schedule, Portland State being the lone exception.
