The 2020 season was a disaster for the Arizona Wildcats, who went 0-5, extended their losing streak to a program-record 12 games, and finished it off by getting destroyed by the Arizona State Sun Devils 70-7 and firing their head coach.
They were also the only Pac-12 school to not land any players on the all-conference first- or second-teams.
But they did have some bright spots!
The Wildcats landed five seniors on the honorable mention list—kicker Lucas Havrisik, running back Gary Brightwell, defensive tackle Roy Lopez, cornerback Lorenzo Burns and linebacker Anthony Pandy.
Havrisik made 9 of his 10 extra points and 6 of his 7 field goals, the highest percentage of his career. That included makes from 38, 42 and 51 yards.
Brightwell carried the ball 86 times for a team-best 386 yards (4.5 yards per carry) and a touchdown. He also caught 13 passes for 53 yards.
Lopez had 18 tackles (four for loss) and a sack. He was a disruptive run stopper, earning a spot on Pro Football Focus’ All-Pac-12 First Team.
Burns had 24 tackles (two for loss), a pass deflection and a fumble recovery. He played virtually every snap after the Wildcats saw several defensive backs opt of the season.
Pandy led the Wildcats in tackles (30) and interceptions (2). Both picks came in the home loss to Colorado, including this sick one-handed grab:

The NCAA granted all student-athletes an extra year of eligibility due to the coronavirus pandemic, so all five seniors can return to Arizona next season.
