Now-former Arizona Wildcats linebacker Tony Fields II officially entered the transfer portal on Friday and is already drawing interest from at least a few major-conference schools.

Fields tweeted that he has offers from Texas, USC, UCLA, Minnesota and West Virginia among others, the same school that landed former Arizona safety Scottie Young Jr.

It’s probably only a matter of time before more offers stream in, considering Fields was an extremely productive three-year starter at Arizona and will be eligible to play immediately at his new school (though who knows if there will even be a 2020 season at this point).

Fields was not terribly clear why he left the Wildcats, but it is clear that he will have an opportunity to join a program that can put him in a better position to win games and, perhaps, boost his NFL Draft stock.

The Las Vegas native logged 287 tackles (17 for loss), 8.5 sacks and a pair of interceptions at the UA, but only had a 16-21 record to show for it.
