The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Howard is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 382 player in the country for 2022, as well as the 21st-best safety. He’s ranked as the No. 51 player from Florida, where he’s currently attending national powerhouse IMG Academy, but he’d be the No. 3 prospect from his home state of Minnesota.
Howard, who was offered by Arizona on Jan. 26, is one of nearly 100 prospects from the 2022 class that the UA has offered (or re-offered) since Fisch took over in late December. He is one of five IMG players that Arizona has offers out to, including 4-star running back Kaytron Allen and 4-star tight end Jack Pedersen.
Here are some of his highlights:
The Wildcats currently have one 2022 commitment, 3-star in-state offensive lineman Grayson Stovall.
