Another top prospect in the 2022 recruiting class is giving the Arizona Wildcats the kind of attention they haven’t gotten from big-name targets in quite some time.
Dominick James, a 4-star defensive tackle from Florida, has the UA in his top 12 alongside Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, Texas A&M, UCF, USC and Wisconsin.

The 6-foot-2, 270-pound James is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 201 player in the 2022 class as well as the 14th-best defensive tackle in the country and the No. 24 prospect from Florida. He plays for IMG Academy in Bradenton, one of the top prep programs and one where several other players have shown interest in the UA this recruiting cycle.
As a junior, James had 30 tackles in six games and recorded one sack and one interception, bringing that pick back for a touchdown in September.
