The Arizona Wildcats don’t yet have a commitment from Texas in their 2022 recruiting class, unlike in previous years, but they’ve far from abandoned that talent-rich state. And prospects out there continue to show interest in the program.

The latest is Dylahn McKinney, a 3-star cornerback from Colleyville, who has included the UA in his top 10 alongside Baylor, Colorado, Kansas State, Missouri, Oklahoma State, SMU, UCF, Utah and Vanderbilt.

The 6-foot, 175-pound McKinney is ranked by 247Sports as the 80th-best corner in the 2022 class as well as the No. 124 prospect from Texas. He plays for Heritage High School, where he stars in both football and track as a sprinter, hurdler and long jumper.

McKinney has already started lining up official visits, with trips planned in June to Oklahoma State and Missouri.

Here are some of his highlights:

Arizona currently has five players committed for 2022, and its class currently ranks 29th nationally and fourth in the Pac-12.
