Arizona’s women’s basketball program wasn’t the only team that had a big day on Easter Sunday. The Wildcat football program got better as quarterback Noah Fifita committed for 2022.
Fifita is a 3-star prospect from Servite High School in Anaheim, California. At 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, people might be a little hesitant about his size. Arizona’s coaches, on the other hand, aren't.
As a matter of fact, neither is Fifita.
He plays big and has a great skill set. He is very mobile, able to move around the pocket with ease to avoid rushers and keep plays alive. He has an electric arm that is more akin to a cannon. He easily delivers the ball downfield and has very impressive vision. Fifita has that “it” factor about him and can become an explosive playmaker.
Fifita is ranked as the No. 636 player nationally, as well as the No. 13 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 45 player in California for 2022.
He has eight offers and chose Arizona over California, Colorado State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Idaho State, New Mexico, and Utah State.
Junior highlights
Fifita is Arizona’s sixth 2022 commitment and the first of April. He is the third commitment from California and is the third offensive addition so far this cycle.
