The Arizona Wildcats received a commitment from three-star cornerback Kyron Chambers on Wednesday.

Listed at 6-feet, 195 pounds, the Dallas native had 17 offers, including from the likes of ASU, Cal, Cincinnati, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Texas Tech.

Chambers is the No. 486 player in the 2022 class, as well as the No. 48 cornerback and No. 66 player in Texas, according to 247Sports composite rankings.

Chambers officially visited Arizona on June 4, right after dead period was lifted. He attends South Oak Cliff High School where in 2020 he had 26 tackles and an interception in six games, earning Texas District 6-5A Division II first-team honors.

Chambers becomes Arizona’s seventh 2022 commitment and the second-highest rated, only behind three-star running back Jonah Coleman. Chambers is also UA’s first Texas commit in that class.
