Arizona picked to finish last in Pac-12 South in preseason media poll

To no one’s surprise, not much is expected of Arizona this season.

The Pac-12 has released its preseason football media poll, and the Wildcats were picked to finish dead last in the South Division. The UA received only 41 votes, the fewest in the conference for the second year in a row.

Riding a 12-game losing streak and breaking in a first-time coach in Jedd Fisch, Arizona’s predicted finish is, well, predictable. Oddsmakers set the UA’s win total at over/under 2.5 wins, fewest in the Pac-12, and Pro Football Focus has ranked Arizona’s quarterback situation as worst in the league.
