4-star wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan commits to Oregon over Arizona, USC

The Arizona Wildcats have landed two prized prospects from Anaheim’s Servite High School, but they couldn’t nab a third. Four-star wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan committed to Oregon over the UA and USC on Monday.

“It was a really tough decision,” McMillan told Greg Biggins of 247Sports. “I had to follow my heart and that led me to Oregon. I’ve always liked Oregon, growing up, that was my favorite school.”

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound McMillan is ranked as the No. 62 player in the 2022 class, fifth-best wide receiver, and No. 4 prospect from California, according to 247Sports composite rankings.

Had McMillan picked Arizona, he would have joined his two best friends and fellow 2022 recruits—3-star quarterback Noah Fifita and 4-star tight end Keyan Burnett—in Tucson.

However, you can bet Arizona’s staff will continue to recruit McMillan until he signs his National Letter of Intent with the Ducks. The first possible day he can do that is Dec. 15. A lot can happen until then.
