When the Arizona Wildcats hit the field next weekend in Las Vegas, for several players it will be for their third head coach in five seasons.

Six of those UA veterans, who have been through it all, have been named the team’s captains for 2021.

Offensive lineman Josh McCauley, wide receivers Stanley Berryhill and Thomas Reid, defensive end Jalen Harris, linebacker Anthony Pandy and kicker Lucas Havrisik have been tabbed as the UA captains, the school announced Friday. Harris and Pandy were two of Arizona's five captains during the shortened 2020 campaign.

All six joined them program under Rich Rodriguez, survived the Kevin Sumlin era and finishing their careers under new coach Jedd Fisch. McCauley, Reid, Pandy and Havrisik are seniors, while Berryhill and Harris are redshirt juniors.

Each is expected to start the Sept. 4 opener against BYU except for Reid, who is a reserve receiver but also plays on all the Wildcats’ special teams units.
