The Arizona Wildcats, fresh off a 42-18 trouncing of the Utah, received some good news from the recruiting trail to cap off the weekend.

Dash Beierly, a 3-star quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class, announced his decision to commit to the Wildcats on Sunday.

Beierly, from Chaparral High School in Temecula, Calif., is another dynamic QB that Jedd Fisch and Jimmie Dougherty have added. Much like Demond Williams Jr. in the 2024 class, Beierly is truly a threat with his arm and his legs. He moves well in the pocket and has a good sense of his surroundings. He steps up when he needs to and is accurate throwing downfield while one the move. He can take off when he needs to and showcases pretty decent speed.

Beierly has committed to Arizona over 13 other offers: BYU, California, Miami (FL), Oregon State, Minnesota, Purdue, Washington, and Utah to name a few.

In the 247Sports Composite rankings, he checks in as the No. 398 player nationally in 2025, the No. 29 QB, and the 35th best player in the State of California.

He put together a solid junior campaign, racking up 2,126 passing yards, while also having 604 yards on the ground and 30 total touchdowns. His MaxPreps stats haven’t been updated as of this writing, so I’m not 100% sure what his completion rate is.

Beierly is the second commitment of the 2025 class, joining 3-star Georgia athlete Bryce Lewis. He has taken multiple visits to Arizona and was at the game against Utah on another unofficial visit. He decided to pull the trigger in favor of the ‘Cats after the game.
