Arizona secured the seventh 9-win season in school history on Saturday with the blowout win at ASU, and now it has a ranking to match the last year it had as many victories.

The Wildcats moved up two spots in the latest Associated Press Top 25, to No. 14, after the 59-23 win over the Sun Devils to retain the Territorial Cup. It is their highest ranking since being 12th in December 2014 after playing in the Pac-12 title game.

The UA (9-3, 7-2) finished third in the final year of the Pac-12, its best placement since being South Division champions in 2014. The seven conference victories are tied for most in school history.

Washington (12-0) moved up to No. 3 in the latest poll, behind fellow unbeatens Georgia and Michigan, while Oregon (11-1) is No. 5. Oregon State (8-4) is the only other ranked Pac-12 team, at No. 21, while Utah (8-4) received votes.

Arizona could move up another rung in the College Football Playoff rankings that come out Tuesday. The Wildcats are currently No. 15.
