With the 2024 recruiting cycle nearing its end, the 2025 class is starting to take center stage. With that comes a myriad of activity: official and unofficial visits, list being narrowed down, and commitments.

The Arizona Wildcats received some promising news late last week from one of their wide receiver targets.

On Friday, 3-star speedster Jadyn Robinson announced his Top 8 schools. The teams to make the cut included: Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Pittsburgh, Texas, Utah, and Washington State.

Robinson trimmed his list down from 16 other offers. Some of the schools not included are Hawaii, San Diego State, Syracuse, and Colorado State.

The 5-foot-10, 158-pound pass-catcher comes in as a 3-star in 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. There, he is rated as the 571st player nationally, the 81st wide receiver in the class, and the 57th-best player in the State of California. Rivals has him as a 4-star, checking in as the 54th-best pass-catcher and 27th-best player in Cali.

Robinson has visited Tucson a couple of times, with the last trip coming during the game against Utah, where the Wildcats dealt the Utes with a 42-18 shellacking.

Robinson plays at San Juan Hills High School in San Juan Capistrano, Calif, after transferring there from powerhouse Long Beach Poly. Robinson finished sixth on the 2023 Stallion squad in receiving yards (206), while his older brother Jason, who is a Washington commit, finished first (900). However, he did finish third in yards per catch (13.7), just ahead of his brother (13.2). Overall, he finished his junior season with 206 yards on 15 catches and two scores. He added another 130 yards on the ground and an additional two touchdowns.
