Incoming Arizona quarterback Demond Williams finished his high school career Saturday with a pair of touchdown throws at the All-American Bowl in San Antonio.

Playing in the Alamadome, the same stadium where the Wildcats ended their 2023 season with an Alamo Bowl win over Oklahoma, Williams showed off his arm strength and accuracy with two darts to the end zone in the first half.

Williams started at quarterback for the East team. In his first drive behind center, he completed a third and long on the ground before finding Ohio State-bound Jeremiah Smith for the first touchdown of the game.

The West team went on to score 31 unanswered points to take control of the game.

Williams got another opportunity late in the third quarter, when he connected with Clemson signee TJ Moore on 3rd and 18 for a 22-yard touchdown pass.

Williams added another touchdown on the ground late in the game.

The West held on to win 31-28.

Williams is ranked the No. 16 quarterback, No. 4 prospect in Arizona and No. 257 overall player in the 2024 class according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

At 5-foot-9 and 174 pounds, Williams has a similar build as UA quarterback Noah Fifita.

Williams, who played at Basha High School, is Arizona’s third four-star quarterback in as many classes. Jedd Fisch signed Fifita out of southern California in 2022, then added Brayden Dorman of Colorado Springs in 2023.

With a quarterback room of Fifita, Dorman and Williams, Arizona’s depth at the position should rival any school’s in the Big 12 next year.
