At the tail end of the Heisman Trophy ceremony, the Arizona Wildcats coaching staff received a verbal commitment from Kahi Neves. Neves was committed to Utah, but flipped to Arizona.

Neves committed to Utah in October 2014 as a quarterback, but him flipping to Arizona likely means that he will be coming to Tucson as a linebacker. Arizona offered him back in February, and he was previously on campus for Junior Day last March.

Kahi Neves once played at Cardinal Newman HS in Santa Rosa, CA … there was a linebacker on the varsity team named Scooby Wright at the time

Neves will be in Tucson full-time starting in January, as he will enroll mid-year according to Jason Scheer:
