Arizona National Signing Day 2015: More secondary depth for Wildcats with Samuel Morrison

He can do it all. From man to zone coverage on the outside, slot or safety position.

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

With almost ten defensive backs in this year's recruiting class, perhaps the most complete of the group is Samuel Morrison. The three-star corner out of Gonzaga College High School (Washington D.C.) is ranked 53rd among all cornerbacks in the nation and the 8th overall recruit out of D.C.

With offers to Boston College, Duke, Virginia and Georgia Tech, Morrison chose to come all the way across the country to Arizona to follow in his father Darryl's footsteps. The elder Morrison was a member of the Desert Swarm defense before going on to to play in the NFL.

When you watch Morrison, he is the total package at 5-11 165lbs. He can do it all. From playing man to zone coverage on the outside, slot or safety position. His skills as a kick returner also make him valuable, with 4.5 40 speed. His highlights are below.

Given some time, Morrison can certainly develop into a rotation guy and beyond early in his career at Arizona. Depending on team needs, Morrison could easily find himself all across the secondary. With the 3-3-5 defense led by pure savages in box, Morrison and company could do a lot of damage.
